Synopsis
‘You and Me in Summer’ is an environment based 3D animated short about the relationship of a girl and a local stray dog. The story is inspired by a human’s love for dogs and how people take them for granted. The film portrays love, loss and friendship.
Summary
On a warm summer day Lucy finds a dog laying on a street waiting to be loved and cared for. She names him Max and spends her days with him rolling in the soft grass and soaking in every ounce of joy that they can share. One day Lucy wants to buy him a collar and call him her own. When she returns from the market she is heartbroken to find him gravely injured on the street where she left him. She wakes up from this nightmare, was she re-living a past memory or is this something that was just haunting her sleep?
